Die Entstehung ist zwischen 1170 und 1230 sehr unsicher datiert und die �berlieferung umrei�t einen Zeitraum von rund 300 Jahren. Zwischen dem zweiten Viertel des 13. Jahrhunderts bis zum zweiten Jahrzehnt des 16. Jahrhunderts ist das Nibelungenlied in 35 Schriften nachzuweisen. Dabei zeigt die �berlieferung von rund elf fast vollst�ndig und 24 in Bruchst�cken erhaltenen Zeugnissen, dass das Nibelungenlied auf eine hohe zeitgen�ssische Resonanz stie�.1 Die Klage, die des �fteren von der Handlung des Epos abweicht und als eigenst�ndige Dichtung zu verstehen ist folgt in den meisten F�llen dem Nibelungenlied nach.
Die Hundeshagensche Handschrift ist also eine von vielen �berlieferten Handschriften, doch sie ist die einzige, die farbige Illustrationen enth�lt. Sie z�hlt zu der sogenannten Not-Guppe.2 Da dieser Kodex eine einmalige Stellung in der �berlieferung einnimmt, bedarf sie einer eigenst�ndigen Untersuchung.
Hierbei sollen als erstes die Basisinformationen er�rtert werden. Dazu z�hlt zu aller erst die Erl�uterung zur Faksimileausgabe Hans Hornungs, der als Erster und bisher Einziger die Illustrationen in Originalgr��e und an ihrer angestammten Positionen innerhalb der Hundeshagenschen Handschrift ver�ffentlichte. Zuvor hatte schon Hermann Degering die Abbildungen der �ffentlichkeit zug�nglich gemacht, allerdings nutzte er dazu die �bersetzung Simrocks und l�ste die Miniaturen von ihren urspr�nglichen Stellen an den Aventuirenenden oder Anf�ngen.
Zweitens soll dann der Aufbau des Hundeshagenschen Kodex und anschlie�end die Schrift des Kodex betrachtet werden. Abschlie�end soll versucht werden die Handschrift zeitlich einzuordnen und den Entstehungsort zu entschl�sseln. Dazu werden diverse Fakten wie Dialektik, Papier, Schrift und Schreiber sowie Namenseintr�ge und m�gliche Aufbewahrungsorte zur Hilfe herangezogen.
Anschlie�end werden dann drei Illustrationen der Handschrift exemplarisch betrachtet. Da nicht alle Miniaturen durchleuchtet werden k�nnen, werden lediglich die Bildseiten Nummer drei, zw�lf und vierzehn genauer beschrieben. Die Wahl fiel auf diese drei Bildseiten, da sie meiner Meinung nach entweder wichtige Aspekte des Nibelungenliedes darstellen, weil sie in der Betrachtung schwer zu deuten sind oder darstellerische Besonderheiten aufweisen.

A must for your personal reference library

Patrick Wood takes a complex subject and makes it accessible to readers, even those previously unaware that a global movement such as this exists. He shows the links between seemingly disconnected initiatives such as Big Data and "sustainable development", and how the true believers in a technocratic future are perfectly content to work inside government systems of all kinds, left, right, and center. Wood thoroughly documents his conclusions; this is not some half-baked Internet conspiracy theory, but a serious and well-reasoned wakeup call to those who still value liberty.

It isn't yet too late to push back against the forces of globalism, but the time is growing short. This book is a must read.

This Book Has the Power to Stop The Deception

ATTENTION: I would highly recommend Everybody buy this new book just out this month by author Patrick Wood: "TECHNOCRACY RISING: THE TROJAN HORSE OF GLOBAL MANIPULATION".
It is a unique book covering all the details and evidence of what is planned for we, the people - who is doing it, how they are doing it, why they are doing it, and more important how to fight it (and how not to do it which is just as important!). There is so much information out there that one can become overloaded. STOP. Read this one book. It gives clarity and focus. I bought several copies. And now I have bought another 3 copies. It is also available on kindle a lot cheaper, but I like the book in the hand (a true record as they can never be altered by technological manipulation later and because books such as this are being removed quietly from libraries which action was planned in the 1960s).

Pat Wood has produced one of the best books ever written on the subject of technocracy. His book begins with the historical conception of a technocratic society dominated by engineers and scientists and ruled by an elite who benefits from the intensely bureaucratic network that will be required to operate such as system. This book clearly explains something we constantly hear about and that is the "New World Order"--it is not what most think it is. Pat Wood explains in detail how the concept of sustainable development will work in conjunction with the new monetary system. Pat Wood is the co-author of Trilaterals Over Washington with Anthony Sutton. My daughter really loves to sing. She was singing so much that I made her a promise...if she could stop singing in the halls at school, I would pay for her to take vocal lessons. This is how her start as a premier singer started. We watched the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang earlier this year and our daughter LOVED the theme song. Not knowing where to get the music, her vocal teacher located the music and we searched for it on Amazon and purchased this selection. The music is well written, easy to follow and very well done. We have had the music for a number of months now, and it still is in fine condition (if anyone knows kids that is amazing). My favorite part of this sheet music is the cover....I always know we have the music to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because the cover is bright red. That is basic, but I'll tell you...when you are racing out of the house to make a lesson, color coding works! All kidding aside, it is a wonderful song and the music is fantastic!

Truly Scrumptious!

I love this book! It is one of my favorite to play from. Probably helps that I love the movie, but the Sherman Brothers are also particular favorites of mine.

Nothing fancy, just the music and words, but that is all you really need to sit down and sing/play to your heart's content.

For a practical understanding of strength...

Zatsiorsky's book is a well presented foundation for learning the concepts behind strength training. The book is primarily directed towards a coach's perspective, but anyone can benefit from it.
The textbook layout is straightforward and includes data gathered from trained athletes. It begins with some basics of strength conditioning. Less knowledgable readers will benefit from these first chapters. The book then progresses to cover training, timing and exercising. Zatsiorsky includes some decent ideas about injury prevention as well.
Overall, it's not an excyclopedia with all the answers. The goal is not to provide generic routines for readers, but to provide the basis for readers to custom design their own routines. I've found this to be a very useful. My thanks to the author.

Excellent book exploring many facets of strength training.

The author has an extraordinary grasp of both the theory and practice of strength training. It is not, however, for those frightened of a bit of science. One of the more enlightening aspects is his explanation of the relationship between force and speed and the consequences of coaches failing to understand that relationship.
Zatsiorsky has a depth of knowledge related to the strength requirements for many sports and activities gained from his many years experience in the former Soviet Union.
This is probably the best book I have yet read relating to strength training.

Decades of experience

This book is based on decades of methodically documented training of Russian athletes. Rather than use hypothesis of what training methods SHOULD work, found so commonly in U.S. training literature, what you'll read in this book is scrupulous analysis of what actually worked and what didn't work. There is no equivalent in the U.S. athletic training system; no one has tracked and scientifically analyzed the training of U.S. athletes like the Russians did with their centralized training programs.
This is a must-read book for serious sports strength and conditioning coaches. It's a little too technical for the average fitness trainee, however. The format is a bit like a scholastic textbook, not a how-to book.

Mona lives half the year in Lebanon and half in Princes Risborough, Bucks.

good book for the money

Good book for beginning, it does a good job of covering the basics first. The pictures in this are great I like the way he set up the different ties but the way he arranged his easy to follow symbols was more confusing than it was helpful. I don't like how he goes over the box tie at first comes back and covers it again then gives a bunch of examples of other finished ties with no explanation of how. He has a great idea in how he wanted to be different in how to arrange the book but came up a little short on some of the ties explanations. The photography in this book is on point the pictures are big beautiful and clear it is clear why the book isn't longer for the price because it is high quality photography and images in this book. If it were not for the photography I would have given it a much lower rating because of who short it is and how it cover the danger thing again got little reason.

The book is great, provided you already have a basic understanding of how rope bondage pieces are constructed. The photos are amazing, but they don't provide adequate step-by-step instructions. I gave the book three stars because I did learn a lot from it, but in my opinion, it's not worth the price.

This book deals with standing, sitting or lying models only, if your into suspension then get the companion volume 2 "Sky". I do not do suspensions so can't comment on that book, but I suspect if it's anything like this book it's worth the money.

Lamentablemente el libro de Mr. Adkin cae en el lugar comun en el que han caido todos los libros acerca del conflicto escritos por autores britanicos con la excepcion del "Excursion to hell" de V.Bramley, la historia oficial britanica de la guerra.Una vez mas el lector preparado se encuentra con una obra que peca de inocente al repetir, casi sin variaciones, los fantasiosos hechos que los Reales archivos britanicos han decidido propalar en lugar de la verdad. Adkin vuelve, sin verguenza aparente, a tirar conceptos como el de 600 ingleses contra 1400 argentinos. La falta de espiritu investigativo le ha negado a Mr. Adkin la posibilidad de dar con la verdad. En efecto 600 hombres alistaban en el Segundo Batallon Paracaidista, pero a esto hay que sumarle la compania J del Comando 42(Royal Marines), el regimiento de artilleria 28, la tripulacion del HMS Arrow,los pilotos de Harrier(800 esquadron)y las unidades de S.B.S y S.A.S que participaron del ataque.Si Mr. adkin pretende un libro apegado a la verdad tambien debera apegarlo a la justicia.Las tropas que enfrentaron el empuje del PARA2 fueron los 200 hombres de la compania A del Regimiento 12( la compania C no participo del combate ya que cubria el flanco sur del itsmo y la compania B fue helitransportada a Goose Green desde su base en mount Kent la noche del 28 y no pudo ingresar al dispositivo argentino sino hasta el dia siguiente , cuando ya se discutia la rendicion)durante la tarde del 28 el avance del PARA2 fue contraatacado por dos pelotones de la compania C del Regimiento 25 los cuales eran toda la reserva con la que contaba el comandante argentino(el resto del regimieto 25 se encontraba en el arepuerto de Stanley).De estos datos que pueden ser corroborados en el libro "Ganso Verde" del Tte.Col.(Re) Italo Piaggi, comandante del dispositivo defensivo en Goose Green, o si no en "Comandos en accion" del Prof. Isidoro J. Ruiz Moreno, de la Escuela Superior de Guerra(cap.xvii, pag.211). Las tropas britanicas que participaron de la guerra de las Malvinas lo hicieron con valor y profesionalismo. Es innecesaria las fabulas que Mr.Adkn relata en su libro ya que tan solo con la verdad se estaria ante una historia de valor y coraje a la altura de las mejores.

A must for future commanders

A last! Finally a book for soldiers about soldiers, written about the battle of Goose Green. This book describes the battle so intense that one cannot but feel the adrenaline rush down ones back while reading. This is a book that every future commander, from coporal to captain, should read before gaining command. It describes several clashes which again proves several military theories right in the way of handling situations on the battlefield. This book is also, I feel, written in honour of the servicemen that fought in the Falklands, and right so. They deserve it.

Summary of this Great Falklands Book

Excellent. Of the many books I have read about the Falklands War and Goose Green and this is the most readable, informative and concise read. The book goes into great details about the individual movements of soldiers, the death of Col 'H', and the real problems they faced, quite an eye-opener. Great Maps, great narrative, couldn't put it down. I'm now looking for another book by the same author!

Fantastic.

I bought this book for my girlfriend. She thoroughly enjoyed it, however she now expects me to give her a reasonable amount of time to get ready, and to wake her up only in the event I have fresh donuts ready for her to eat. That being said, this book is worth absolutely worth it. Jack Sjogren is a talented, witty, and dare I say, handsome man.

The only thing that was missing was "I would pick up all the soda cans you leave around the house and put them in the recycling bin." But other than that, this book captures the essence of love sick devotion bordering on servitude we've become accustomed to these days.
